It Has a Cool Design & Makes Cooking Fun
The packaging this knife set arrives in feels like you just bought the newest iPhone. As soon as I got it out of the box I was looking around my kitchen counter & fridge for things I could start chopping!
Fast forward 10 minutes later and I had basically chopped up every vegetable in the house, and felt like I should audition for the next season of Iron Chef.
Even though when it comes to proper knife skills in the kitchen… I have no idea what I'm doing… these knives just feel perfect.
The handle is shaped in such a way that makes it easy to hold and the weight & balance of the knives gives you the confidence to chop with ease. These knives are built using special steel that is 2.5x heavier than the steel used in many traditional kitchen knives… giving it a nice weight while maintaining a sleek look.
What I Love About the Misen Knife
- Easy to Clean Meat and vegetables don't stick to the blade like some of my other knives, so a quick wash and pat-dry is all it needs.
- It's Sharp Misen designed their knives using a 15-degree blade angle instead of the traditional 25-degree angle, giving their knives a noticeably sharper cutting face.

Be Careful This Thing is Sooo Sharp!
I'm not a professional chef… not even close, but I was sold on the Misen knife when I saw the way it slices through perfectly ripe tomatoes without turning them into a squished mess… I eat a lot of tomatoes.
Misen sharpened these knives at 15 degrees instead of the usual 25-degree blade angle, so they're extra sharp right out of the box. After 6 months of using the Misen Chef's Knife it is still slicing & dicing like the day I got it.
Simple & Easy to Clean
While you can't toss the Misen Chef's Knife into the dishwasher, that doesn't really bother me. I use it so often that I'd rather quickly wash it anyway.
Meat and vegetables don't seem to stick to the blade like some of my other knives, so a quick wash and pat-dry is all it needs.
